A Restorative Practice from the Heart
Restorative yoga stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) responsible for keeping the body in equilibrium. When we activate the PNS, it helps to lower heart rate, cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels; improves digestion, elimination, and fertility; and reduces tension, insomnia, and fatigue.
Join Sarah for a soothing and quiet approach to familiar asanas (yoga poses). Sarah will use props and touch to help you sink deeper into the asana, experiencing the melting away of tension, and restoring health and vitality to mind, body and spirit.
Essential oils will be used throughout the workshop to deepen your sense of well being. Please join us as we explore the yoga of ‘being’ rather than the yoga of ‘doing’ and experience harmony of body, mind and spirit.
No prior experience is needed.
